IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of IT support and service desk operations for the Liverpool studio
• Support users with requests via the ticketing system while prioritizing IT security
• Maintain and replace hardware for user PCs and manage local IT assets
• Set up new user accounts and profiles and manage password issues
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Work alongside the IT Manager to implement planned upgrades with minimal downtime
• Update technical documentation of working practices and job notes
• Collaborate with global IT support teams to ensure consistent policy implementation

Requirements

• Understanding of basic Network Protocols
• Hands-on knowledge of hardware maintenance and replacement
• Proficiency in Active Directory and O365 Administration
• Experience with first-line support operations and ServiceNow
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues swiftly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Passion for gaming and the gaming industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working or supporting clients within the games industry
• Experience in a highly technical development environment
• Proven experience managing a high-performing customer service or support team
