IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Provide technical support to local, remote, home-based, and manufacturing users
• Use Microsoft SCCM for user client setup, asset monitoring, and software deployments
• Utilize Help Desk applications to track and monitor user needs
• Specify and order new hardware and software as required
• Promote ANDRITZ standards regarding hardware and software usage
• Manage time effectively to prioritize projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a support technician
• Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience/certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 11 and Office365
• Basic experience with Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory
• Proficiency with mobile devices (iOS and Android)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Atlassian’s JIRA and Confluence platforms
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
