IT Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues involving desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve problems related to PCs, printers, tablets, and cellular devices.
• Support end-users via phone, email, chat, remote access, or in-person interactions.
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
• Create and maintain incident work-log entries and databases for tracking purposes.
• Provide basic training to new staff on standard desktop applications and G-Suite.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in an IT-related field with at least 1 year of experience, or a High school diploma/GED with at least 3 years of technical support experience.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace environments (Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
• Experience in client-facing consulting engagements.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status to obtain facility credentials.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, moving equipment, and walking moderate to long distances.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related Information Technology field.
