About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 IT help desk support, including hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Perform LAN administrator support for the installation and maintenance of network devices, servers, and storage arrays
  • Support network-attached devices such as computers, printers, biometric devices, and mobile/wireless hardware
  • Assist in testing and maintaining server configurations, security patches, and system backups
  • Monitor ServiceNow assignment groups and resolve technical tickets
  • Conduct new equipment deployments and maintain video teleconferencing infrastructure
  • Participate in a weekly on-call rotation and support special projects or events

Requirements

  • Associates Degree and 1 year of IT help desk experience, or High school diploma and 3 years of experience
  • Hands-on experience with network, computer, server, device imaging, and backup support
  • Proficiency with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams)
  • Experience using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system
  • Experience with end-point management tools such as SCCM, Bomgar, Zscaler, or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes
  • US Citizenship required to obtain facility credentials
  • Valid driver's license and ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs)
  • Ability to work in law enforcement environments, such as detention facilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior IT support experience in an Enterprise environment
  • Experience with Windows Server 2019, Hyper-V, InfoBlox, or NetBackup
  • Experience performing hardware repair for HP computers/printers and Dell servers
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4, MCSE, A+, Security+, or Network+
