About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for school hardware, software, networks, and user devices
- Respond to IT tickets, emails, and walk-ins from staff and students
- Troubleshoot laptops, Chromebooks, desktops, printers, and classroom technology
- Configure and maintain Windows laptops and Chromebooks
- Perform basic troubleshooting of switches, firewalls, and access points
- Manage user accounts in Google Workspace and school systems
- Maintain classroom technology including projectors, sound systems, and interactive panels
- Install and support educational software and manage printer drivers
- Document daily tasks, inventory, and recurring problems in the help desk system
- Provide on-site technical support for school events such as graduations and assemblies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support or technical troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP)
- Experience with Google Workspace for Education
- Familiarity with IT asset management and ticketing systems
- Ability to support AV equipment and printers

- Experience working in an educational environment
