About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for school hardware, software, networks, and user devices
  • Respond to IT tickets, emails, and walk-ins from staff and students
  • Troubleshoot laptops, Chromebooks, desktops, printers, and classroom technology
  • Configure and maintain Windows laptops and Chromebooks
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of switches, firewalls, and access points
  • Manage user accounts in Google Workspace and school systems
  • Maintain classroom technology including projectors, sound systems, and interactive panels
  • Install and support educational software and manage printer drivers
  • Document daily tasks, inventory, and recurring problems in the help desk system
  • Provide on-site technical support for school events such as graduations and assemblies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT support or technical troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS
  • Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP)
  • Experience with Google Workspace for Education
  • Familiarity with IT asset management and ticketing systems
  • Ability to support AV equipment and printers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an educational environment
