About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT queries via telephone, remote access, and on-site support
  • Manage and record all requests using the Ivanti Neurons ITSM ticketing system
  • Provide first-line support by assessing request urgency and resolving basic technical issues
  • Diagnose software configuration, updates, bug fixes, and patches to ensure system stability
  • Assist with user on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including hardware delivery and software installation
  • Manage user access rights and support IT workstations (Windows 11, M365 suite)
  • Maintain and update technical documentation
  • Assist with IT procurement, including managing orders, delivery dates, and complaints
  • Provide on-site support and travel to various locations in Germany and abroad when required

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in IT or completed vocational training in the IT sector
  • Proven experience in an IT customer support role
  • Excellent understanding of Windows platforms, operating systems, and servers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 11, M365 suite, and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of SCCM, Microsoft Exchange, GPO, PowerShell, and SharePoint is an asset
  • Solid understanding of ITIL and ISO/IEC 20000 standards
  • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • High level of personal commitment and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent English language skills and intercultural competence
  • German language skills are an advantage
