About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support, addressing issues with computer systems, hardware, software, and networks for both on-site and remote staff.
  • Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of company IT equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Manage IT inventory, track equipment status, and maintain detailed records of hardware and software assets.
  • Prepare, format, and configure laptops and devices for new staff members, ensuring necessary applications and security protocols are in place.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software while diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Install and connect IT hardware such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Provide guidance and training to non-technical staff regarding company systems and remote work tools.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and IT service providers as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, specifically in internal staff support and equipment maintenance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to provide user support.
  • Proficiency in hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across various technology platforms and remote environments.
  • Knowledge of remote troubleshooting techniques and network security practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both in-person and virtual interaction.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Intune, or Apple Business Manager.
