About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage identity, access, and device management for macOS, Windows, and Linux environments
  • Build and maintain standard OS images for Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu Linux workstations
  • Own and administer the Jira Service Management Help Desk, including SLA schemes and request routing
  • Serve as Tier 1/2 support for hardware, OS, and software issues across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate staff
  • Manage the full device lifecycle from procurement and imaging to decommissioning and secure wipes
  • Administer Google Workspace, including user lifecycle, group management, and organizational units
  • Implement MFA enforcement and baseline security policies in coordination with the Security Engineer
  • Maintain a comprehensive hardware asset inventory and track software license utilization

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of IT support experience in a multi-OS environment
  • Hands-on experience with JumpCloud, Jamf, Intune, or Kandji (JumpCloud preferred)
  • Administration-level proficiency in macOS, Windows 10/11, and Ubuntu/Debian Linux
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration
  • Proficiency with Jira Service Management to own and configure IT helpdesk projects
  • Excellent written documentation habits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting engineering and developer workflows (VS Code, Docker, dev toolchains on Linux)
  • Windows and Linux device imaging experience in a manufacturing or lab environment
  • Scripting ability in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 evidence collection for endpoint controls
