IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Manage Help Desk tickets, prioritizing and resolving user-reported issues
• Install and support AV systems in conference and collaborative spaces
• Assist with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Script, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
• Manage MDM solutions for Windows and Mac
• Develop end-user training guides, FAQs, and internal documentation
• Support security camera systems (PVMS) and networking initiatives

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in IT support or equivalent education/experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint
• Proficiency with Apple macOS and iOS
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
• Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting tools
• Experience with help desk ticketing systems and remote support tools
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds and perform physical setup for events
• Alignment with the vision and mission of BattleCreek Church

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
• Experience with Apple Business Manager
• Scripting ability in Bash and PowerShell
