About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues via email, phone, and ticketing systems
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, servers, and other IT equipment
- Manage Active Directory objects, including user accounts, groups, and organizational units
- Administer Windows and Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance through regular updates and patches
- Install, update, and configure software applications on both Windows and Linux platforms
- Maintain business continuity by responding to incidents within SLA guidelines and documenting solutions in a knowledge base
- Coordinate with ISP suppliers to resolve internet connectivity issues
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, focusing on networking, Windows systems, and Linux administration
- Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, routers, and switches
- Proficiency in Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat), including user management and shell scripting
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and legal holidays
