IT Support Intern

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT-related inquiries and issues from users in a timely manner
• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of IT issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate team
• Support both onsite and remote employees with IT-related requests
• Assist with maintaining IT equipment used within lab environments
• Coordinate with senior IT staff to ensure operational continuity of local IT services
• Assist with inventory organization and general IT operational activities
• Support routine audits and equipment verification activities
• Provide administrative support for IT documentation and process updates
• Assist with asset management activities and special IT projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, macOS, and Microsoft Office 365
• Experience with IT troubleshooting tools and remote support software
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of basic networking, Active Directory, and IT security is a plus
