IT Support Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex IT problems without standard operating procedures
• Manage local technical projects and coordinate change management (CM) templates
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to execute technical projects
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and automate manual tasks to increase efficiency
• Serve as the first point of escalation for technical issues
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours
• Identify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies
• Participate in the hiring, training, and development of team members
• Audit work quality and provide constructive feedback to the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related field
• 1 year of IT experience with client, server, and network service delivery
• 1 year of experience with IT systems in a commercial production environment
• 1 year of experience with networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, or TCP/IP
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Administration, Linux Administration, or Cisco IOS (CLI)
• 1 year of experience troubleshooting in a multi-user, high-availability environment
• 1 year of experience with PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation
