About the role
Responsibilities
- Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used within Amazon Operations facilities
- Handle support requests and technical procedures across the network
- Assist in training new hires on technical systems and processes
- Support customers from multiple buildings in the area as well as remote customers
- Engage in continuous learning of new technologies to support evolving infrastructure
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Experience working in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), or AWS
- Experience with Microsoft hardware installation
