About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for Windows, MacOS, Manufacturing, and Point of Sales systems via phone, email, and in-person
  • Record, track, and escalate technical incidents using the corporate ticketing system
  • Manage user lifecycles, including onboarding, offboarding, and account modifications
  • Configure and support workstations, mobile devices, tablets, and Audio/Visual conferencing technologies
  • Perform hardware setup and imaging for laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices like printers and IP phones
  • Execute security updates, software deployments, and operating system troubleshooting
  • Document technical procedures and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
  • Coordinate with IT Operations teams on complex issues involving infrastructure, cybersecurity, and network availability

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology or an equivalent field
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android operating systems
  • Experience managing user accounts within Active Directory and Office 365
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Intune or JAMF Pro
  • Solid understanding of basic networking concepts and hardware troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting MFA/SSO, 2FA, and proxy services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications such as A+, Network+, or M365
  • Experience with desktop imaging tools like WDS, WDT, or Dell Deployment Toolkit
  • Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks, specifically SOX
  • Experience working in an enterprise multi-site environment with virtual desktops or thin clients
