IT Support Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Resolve support tickets within defined timelines and assist team members with email and system access.
• Manage employee onboarding by configuring laptops, installing company applications, and setting up official email accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including laptops, mobile phones, and SIM cards, tracking all allocations and returns.
• Travel to retail store locations to diagnose and resolve hardware, billing system, and network problems.
• Coordinate with external vendors when necessary to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office, including MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of networking principles.
• Fluency in both English and Hindi.
• Willingness to travel to various store locations as required.
• A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous internship experience in an IT support role.
• Basic knowledge of IT asset management processes.
