IT Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line application support for Fixed Income Trading and Sales desks in North America
• Manage and support applications providing pricing, risk, electronic/algorithmic trading, and trade capture functionalities
• Interact with Front Office, Finance, Operations, Risk Management, and Infrastructure teams to implement robust technology solutions
• Investigate trade breaks, connectivity issues, and data discrepancies within trading systems
• Develop ad-hoc reporting tools for various business groups
• Participate in periodic on-call support and shift work as required

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting front-to-back trading systems and trading desks
• Deep knowledge of ION Trading solutions and implementations
• Experience supporting exchange connectivity (e.g., MarketView, ION MMI, ION Anvil)
• Strong understanding of financial markets and products, specifically Fixed Income, Interest rate products, and Repo
• Proficiency with Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, and Python
• Experience with scripting and/or programming languages
• Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT project and development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodology, and ITIL
• Understanding of electronic trading, market making, and algorithmic trading frameworks
