IT Support Analyst - Classroom AV Support

Responsibilities

• Plan, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on audio/visual equipment in classrooms, labs, and conference rooms.
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional AV infrastructure projects of medium to high complexity.
• Research and price technical solutions to address user needs and support the annual budget process.
• Provide second-line support for audiovisual and video conferencing setups for academic and community events.
• Coordinate technology installations and repairs with third-party vendor partners.
• Provide end-user training for classroom technology and maintain documentation in the ITS Knowledge Base.
• Maintain inventory and maintenance records for all AV devices, computers, and related equipment.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in A/V Technology and Communications or a related field (or an Associate's in any field with demonstrable relevant experience).
• 3-5 years of directly relevant experience in AV or IT support.
• Strong analytical and technical aptitude with a focus on root-cause problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a customer-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Additional technical certifications, such as Extron.
