Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company in person or over the phone
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology
  • Training junior staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
  • 1-2 years of experience as an IT support specialist
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
  • Proficiency in IT helpdesk software such as Freshservice and SysAid
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
  • Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
