Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company in person or over the phone
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Training junior staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
- 1-2 years of experience as an IT support specialist
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
- Proficiency in IT helpdesk software such as Freshservice and SysAid
- Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
- Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
