IT Storage Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain storage platforms including NetApp filer, EMC VMAX, and Isilon
• Oversee backup platforms such as IBM TSM and Cohesity
• Manage SAN Switch infrastructure using Cisco MDS
• Perform data center management, routine monitoring, and troubleshooting via ticketing systems
• Execute installation, maintenance, and performance improvements for storage devices
• Participate in on-call duties to ensure high availability
• Monitor system performance metrics and perform trend analysis to proactively improve operations
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects on system changes to improve scalability and high availability
• Create technical documentation and reference architectures for global operation teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an information-related field
• Effective oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities
• A strong interest in storage system maintenance and performance optimization
• A proactive approach to learning new skills and sharing knowledge with the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the manufacturing industry
• IT-related professional training certificates, such as EMC or NetApp courses
