About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized first-level technical support to students, faculty, and staff via remote or on-site assistance.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to computers, printing, videoconferencing, and networks.
- Support collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom to ensure seamless digital services.
- Evaluate reported technical failures in person to determine if immediate resolution is possible or if escalation to higher levels is required.
- Manage the inventory of peripheral and audiovisual equipment, including laptops and adapters, ensuring accurate tracking of entries and exits.
- Assist users with portal access, email configuration, internet connectivity, and hardware delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Systems, Computing, Informatics, or a related field (completed or in process).
- Proven experience in IT user support and technical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in providing technical support for Windows, macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.
- Intermediate level of English to assist international students and faculty.
- Strong service orientation, adaptability to change, and ability to work toward results.
