IT Specialist

Responsibilities

• Work closely with IT staff and consultants to maintain the firm's technology systems and environment
• Follow company IT security protocols and assist in maintaining network integrity and compliance
• Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Log, track, and resolve tickets using help desk software and escalate issues when necessary
• Assist with the setup and deployment of workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and conference room equipment
• Provide timely notifications to users regarding system changes or outages
• Assist with planned expansions and perform occasional travel as required

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Previous experience in a Helpdesk environment
• Proficiency in basic network cabling tasks, such as creating patch cables and installing structured cabling
• Ability to lift and/or move equipment up to 50 pounds
