IT Specialist - Compute & Storage

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and refinement of technical standards for compute and storage platforms, including Azure and Windows Server
• Support project delivery for cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and automation initiatives
• Provide 4th line operational support for both cloud and on-premise infrastructure
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex incidents, problems, and changes
• Support identity management and access control using Active Directory, Entra ID, and RBAC
• Monitor and optimize the cost, performance, and capacity of compute and storage services
• Maintain technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams and solution designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in security, applications, and service delivery to align with business goals
• Mentor operations teams to foster a culture of learning and operational excellence

Requirements

• Proven experience providing advanced technical support for complex compute and storage environments
• Deep technical knowledge of Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, and on-premises Windows Server
• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment across distributed teams
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, including advising and managing expectations at all levels
• Ability to identify risks and make effective decisions under pressure
• Track record of contributing to strategic transformation and continuous service improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in Azure
• Experience with Microsoft cloud cost optimization
• Experience operating within complex, matrixed global organizations
• Knowledge of containerization platforms such as Kubernetes
• Experience in cloud performance engineering and capacity planning
