About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform IT audits focused on compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations, ensuring IT general and automated controls are effectively designed and operating.
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans for IT controls to meet SOX requirements.
  • Utilize GenAI, data analytics, and automation tools to enhance audit processes and identify system anomalies.
  • Evaluate SDLC processes to ensure proper controls are in place during system development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Stay updated on emerging IT risks, including cloud computing, cybersecurity threats, and data privacy regulations.
  • Participate in risk-based audits and project assurance initiatives to enhance overall audit effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT controls-based testing, including planning audits and preparing reports.
  • Strong understanding and operational application of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Section 404.
  • Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or Power BI.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of information security controls.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 10-15%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CPA.
  • Experience with electronic work papers and standard productivity tools.
