IT Software Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of software engineers
• Drive technical excellence, code quality, and engineering best practices
• Ensure on-time delivery through effective planning and risk management
• Work with Product Owners to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum practices including Sprint Planning and Retrospectives
• Provide architectural guidance and participate in key technical decisions
• Encourage adoption of modern technologies and AI-driven development patterns

Requirements

• Significant experience in building and developing applications and services
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and distributed systems
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, and TypeScript
• Experience with Gitlab
• Experience working with global, multi-time-zone teams
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vue framework
• Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum teams in a product-driven environment
• Familiarity with open-source ecosystems
