IT Software Engineer - MES systems

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and support software systems used to schedule, track, and manage semiconductor manufacturing products globally.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and provide suggestions to resolve production and process issues.
• Provide incident and problem management for MES systems, including technical support for problem identification and resolution.
• Conduct testing of new software releases across multiple sites to ensure smooth production transitions.
• Monitor system performance, report indices, and recommend improvements to address abnormalities.
• Provide training and updates to customers and support personnel regarding new application features and tools.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and work flexible schedules as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in software application development or management.
• Proficiency in C# or C++ programming and Perl scripting.
• Working knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL.
• Experience with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL or Oracle, including performance tuning.
• Experience working in Linux, Unix, or Windows environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and travel domestically.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MES systems.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
