IT Service Specialist III

Responsibilities

• Provide level 2 and level 3 support for in-house and Custom off the Shelf (COTS) applications
• Collaborate with level 1 support teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Assist in the testing and rollout of new applications, verifying functionality and compatibility
• Liaise with application vendors and internal development teams to report and escalate issues
• Support integration development by assisting in the design and deployment of new data flows and interfaces
• Collaborate with end users to provide training, assistance, and documentation
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations and troubleshooting
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the support workflow

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in related community work or activities; OR
• High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in related community work or activities; OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have at least one year of experience as described in the baccalaureate requirement

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL or CompTIA A+
