IT Service & Innovation Manager

About the Company

ZHD Stevedores is a family business that operates 24/7 port terminals in the sea ports of Dordrecht and Moerdijk. Their services include the transshipment of cargo (bulk goods, breakbulk, and containers) and providing (covered) storage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality, availability, and continuity of IT services
• Critically assess, implement, and optimize AI tools within operations
• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including system updates, upgrades, and migrations
• Act as an escalation point for complex or business-critical disruptions
• Manage, monitor, and evaluate external IT vendors and service partners
• Coordinate and realize improvement projects focused on internal processes and service quality
• Develop project plans and monitor the progress of IT projects
• Report to management on IT service performance, ongoing projects, risks, and improvement initiatives
• Advise users on IT-related issues, changes, and improvement opportunities
• Support the creation and maintenance of IT documentation and procedures

Requirements

• HBO or WO degree, preferably in Computer Science, Business IT & Management, or similar
• 3 to 5 years of experience in IT management, service management, or project management
• Knowledge of IT infrastructures, networks, systems, cloud solutions, and information security
• Experience with IT projects and process improvements
• Affinity with logistics processes is a plus
