IT Service Desk Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by responding to IT support requests via ticketing system, chat, email, and in-person
• Troubleshoot issues across macOS and Windows laptops, productivity applications, and collaboration tools
• Set up, deploy, and manage computers and peripherals for new hires and existing employees
• Help maintain and improve IT processes and documentation
• Manage access requests and accounts across business systems
• Support office technology including networking, AV setups, and conference rooms
• Contribute to IT asset management and inventory tracking
• Provide training on applications and IT best practices
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and security initiatives

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience or training in IT support, help desk, or a related role
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
• Familiarity with macOS (primary environment) and Windows
• Proficiency with common collaboration and productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom
• Reliable, responsible, and organized with a strong ability to follow through on commitments
• Curious and eager to learn with a creative approach to problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux
• Exposure to or interest in tools like Jamf MDM, Ubiquiti Networking, AWS, GitLab, or HashiCorp Vault
