About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for on-site IT support, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues across macOS, Windows, and mobile platforms.
- Manage end-to-end AV and VC setup for on-site events, including all-hands meetings, board sessions, and client presentations.
- Operate and maintain conference room technology such as Google Meet Rooms, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
- Conduct pre-event technical rehearsals and provide live, real-time troubleshooting during high-profile events.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, configuration, deployment, and secure disposal.
- Maintain an accurate hardware asset register and conduct regular physical audits.
- Manage on-site network infrastructure, including switches, Wi-Fi access points, and cabling.
- Provide white-glove IT support to executive and senior leadership stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support, IT technician, or AV/VC technician role.
- Proficiency with macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms (Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Experience using ITSM or asset management tools.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure during live events.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
