About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 IT support to employees by addressing technical issues, determining causes, and offering solutions.
  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot hardware including desktops, laptops, and printers.
  • Manage incoming support tickets by prioritizing and escalating as necessary.
  • Offer support for Microsoft and third-party applications.
  • Educate users to minimize repeat requests and maintain the desktop environment through software and hardware installations.
  • Conduct occasional remote site visits for support and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of network environments, including diagnosing connectivity problems.
  • Proven customer service skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues both remotely and in-person.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with different priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts to ensure proper coverage.
