IT Server Engineer

Responsibilities

• Administer Hyper-V and virtualization platforms
• Lead cloud migration initiatives across Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments
• Design and support cloud-based infrastructure including VMs, storage, and disaster recovery
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Bash for provisioning and patch management
• Troubleshoot complex server, storage, and operating system issues
• Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure compliance and security standards
• Maintain documentation for server builds, configurations, and change management

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience
• 3-5+ years of experience with Data Center infrastructure and virtualization
• Expert knowledge of virtualization technologies
• Experience with Microsoft OS, Citrix, VMWare, Unix, and Linux
• Proficiency with Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, Active Directory, and Exchange
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Datto, or Acronis)
• PowerShell scripting skills
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• MCSA, MCSE, or VMware VCP certifications
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulatory requirements
