IT Senior Auditor

Responsibilities

• Perform IT and integrated audits by documenting and evaluating audit objectives
• Complete audit work papers and memoranda by documenting audit tests and findings
• Support external auditors by coordinating information requirements
• Provide support on issues relating to Sarbanes-Oxley, internal controls, and remediation assistance
• Assist with the development and implementation of training programs in risk, ethics, and anti-fraud
• Conduct audit walkthroughs and detailed evidential control tests
• Write audit reports and communicate observations to technical and non-technical audiences
• Assist department with data analytics and system access

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 3 to 5 years of Audit or relevant experience
• Working knowledge of internal control requirements and IT procedures
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 30 percent of the time
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP), information security, or infrastructure services
• Experience with COSO Framework, COBIT, or ITIL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the energy industry
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley regulation
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CPA, or CIA
