IT Senior Auditor

Responsibilities

• Conduct assurance reviews and audits to evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls supporting business processes and information systems.
• Lead all aspects of the audit process, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting.
• Document business processes and perform testing of automated business process controls and IT general controls.
• Assess information technology design and operating effectiveness regarding logical access, change management, and operations.
• Evaluate root cause factors and mitigating controls for audit testing exceptions.
• Partner with project managers to assess the adequacy of corrective actions taken by management to improve governance and risk management.
• Coordinate audit activities with management, co-source providers, and external auditors.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant audit and risk management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Management, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• Knowledge of IPPF Standards, IIA best practices, and auditing principles.
• Significant experience with internal control frameworks including SOX, SSAE 18 (SOC 1 and SOC 2), and AICPA Trust Services Criteria.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCAK, or CPA.
• Ability to travel 10-15%, including some international travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, FFIEC, PCI-DSS, ISO27001, or ITIL.
• Big Four or similar firm audit experience.
• Industry experience in Card Issuing, Payment Processing, Financial Services, or Merchant Acquiring.
• Familiarity with AuditBoard or similar audit software.
