IT Security Project Specialist

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate a portfolio of cybersecurity projects including risk assessments and network scans
• Facilitate development of project charters and business case analysis
• Engage high-level stakeholders across DSS-HRA-DHS program areas and city agencies
• Provide IT security subject matter expertise for enterprise security architecture
• Evaluate vulnerabilities in networks, hardware, systems, and mobile devices
• Develop project delivery reports using Microsoft Project, Visio, and Excel
• Assist in developing RFIs and RFPs and evaluate vendor submissions
• Lead certification and accreditation of new systems prior to production release
• Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify non-compliance

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
• Four years of full-time experience related to cybersecurity projects and policies
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
