IT Security Operations Administrator

Responsibilities

• Ensure secure operation of DPH computer systems, servers, and network connections
• Collaborate with OIT to check server and firewall logs and scrutinize network traffic
• Analyze and resolve security breaches and vulnerability issues
• Coordinate deployment and maintenance of security systems including firewalls and antivirus software
• Administer end user accounts, permissions, and access rights
• Review penetration test results and collaborate with application owners to mitigate risks
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with OIT and DPH stakeholders
• Monitor and report on IT security projects and service level agreements

Requirements

• Extensive experience with information, network, and application security concepts
• Deep understanding of information risk assessment and mitigation
• Comprehensive understanding of forensics and compliance tools and processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• GIAC certification
• CISSP certification
• Four years of experience in IT security
