IT Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IT security policies and action plans
• Evaluate and recommend IT security products and solutions
• Implement and manage risk assessment methodologies
• Establish and manage IT Security Incident Management processes
• Conduct forensic investigations and security threat monitoring
• Collaborate with external partners and government agencies on security matters
• Manage IT asset inventory for central security tools

Requirements

• At least 4 years experience in software development, application security, and cloud computing
• Familiarity with mobile and web API architecture (REST, SOAP, SSL/TLS)
• Experience in threat modelling and risk remediation
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and security best practices
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated security testing
• Experience with SAST tools like Fortify-on-Demand or Sonarqube
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or AWS Security
• Experience working with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC)
