IT Projects Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements to translate them into technical functionality.
• Assess risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact for large-scale IT transformation projects.
• Model processes, data flows, and technology to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create compelling business cases to establish approval, funding, and prioritization.
• Maintain clear documentation of requirements and ensure traceability from business needs through to testing and final solution.
• Interact with software suppliers, designers, and developers to ensure business requirements and use cases are addressed.
• Define acceptance criteria and coordinate testing to validate that solutions meet business needs.
• Lead stakeholder management activities, large design sessions, and business analysis teams.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in IT and team leadership.
• Proven experience working within Agile projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and tools.
• Experience educating stakeholders, including Product Owners and Business partners, in Agile ways of working.
• 4-year IT Degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA certification.
• Lean Practitioner training and experience.
• Agile certifications or specialized training.
