IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the PARAGON platform within the European Commission
• Develop and maintain the project roadmap, implementation plan, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate technical and operational stakeholders across DGs, security services, and infrastructure teams
• Act as the primary liaison between the European Commission and the Belgian NCCN
• Ensure the integration of PARAGON with existing cybersecurity and incident response processes
• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation actions
• Coordinate testing, validation, acceptance, and rollout activities
• Monitor project progress to ensure delivery within agreed scope, timeline, and budget
• Support change management, communication, training, and user adoption activities
• Ensure compliance with European Commission security policies and data protection requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management
• Experience working within European Institutions (European Commission, Council, Parliament, etc.)
• Proven experience managing complex IT transformation, infrastructure, or cybersecurity projects
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, monitoring, and incident response
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as PM2, PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile
• Excellent command of English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL service management principles
• Knowledge of French and/or Dutch
• Experience with Security Operations Centres (SOC) or cyber threat intelligence
• Experience implementing cybersecurity platforms or security information-sharing solutions
• Knowledge of EU cybersecurity policy and governance frameworks
