IT Project Manager - AML - Risk Management

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Oversee CAPEX tracking and project portfolio management.
• Handle risk, issue, and dependency management to ensure project stability.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, specifically regarding AML/CTF, Data Protection, and Operational Risk Management.
• Manage relationships with business units, senior management, and external vendors.
• Coordinate resource planning, task allocation, and team performance management.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Banking, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, ideally within an international banking environment.
• Proven experience in project management within the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF, Data Protection, and Operational Risk Management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and ensure vendor contractual compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in systems technology or project management.
• Experience with internal and external audit requirements in a banking context.
