IT Project Group Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute compliance with legal entity requirements, including technology regulatory reporting and adherence to Citi policies.
• Assess and mitigate risks in business decisions to safeguard the firm's reputation and assets.
• Lead the Technology MIC governance process, ensuring frameworks are periodically reviewed and aligned with regulatory updates.
• Manage multiple concurrent regulatory examinations and audits independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Partner with local business and technology teams to define governance scope and identify applications supporting regulated activities.
• Oversee the monitoring of evolving regulatory requirements and provide timely analysis of implications to stakeholders.
• Champion innovation by leveraging data analytics to enhance the value and efficiency of regulatory activities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in regulatory compliance, governance, or related fields, ideally within a complex financial institution.
• Demonstrated expertise in local and international technology laws, rules, and risk typologies.
• Extensive experience managing regulatory examinations and maintaining relationships with auditors.
• Strong understanding of auditing principles, including risk assessments, control design, and operating effectiveness testing.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder influence skills, with the ability to lead at senior levels.
• Proven ability to work independently and navigate complex, matrixed organizational structures.
