IT Process Automation Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex IT process automation solutions across infrastructure and operations.
• Act as the CMDB Champion, owning the end-to-end strategy and execution of CMDB architecture to ensure data accuracy.
• Oversee the full deployment and optimization of ServiceNow Discovery across servers, storage, and network devices in data centers.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams on automation best practices and frameworks.
• Serve as the chief architect for IT process automation, providing strategic direction and scalable, secure IT solutions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in programming, IT automation, or infrastructure management.
• Proven expertise in IT process automation tools such as ServiceNow or Ansible.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB design, deployment, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network devices.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• ITIL certification.
• Experience working with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid IT environments.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and web services integration.
