IT PMO

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Management Office (PMO) for the China IT organization, overseeing the full lifecycle of digital and IT projects.
• Manage project initiation, IT project governance, budget planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder management.
• Ensure project delivery remains within scope, on time, and within budget.
• Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Drive the adoption of global project management standards and governance frameworks.
• Report project status to boards, steering committees, and global stakeholders to ensure transparency.
• Coordinate cross-functional planning and monitoring of multiple complex projects to ensure strategic alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of eight years of related work experience.
• Proven experience implementing ERP systems, with a preference for SAP.
• Extensive experience leading large-scale IT projects in a matrixed organization.
• Proficiency in global project management standards such as PMP or Prince2.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with an understanding of CSV and GxP regulations.
• Experience managing large budgets (e.g., $5M+).
• Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong background in vendor relationship, procurement, and contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change management efforts and deliver results in ambiguous situations.
