IT Platform Engineer - Associate

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support foundational platform components within a large and complex SAP landscape
• Provide Follow-the-Sun (FTS) incident management support for SAP systems to ensure rapid service restoration
• Maintain system integrity, availability, and operational controls across SAP RISE landscapes
• Lead SAP Basis administration activities, including system builds, configurations, monitoring, and housekeeping
• Coordinate cross-functional technical activities such as outages, upgrades, and infrastructure changes
• Implement system monitoring, alerting, proactive health checks, and capacity monitoring
• Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancements, disaster recovery, and cyber recovery tests
• Analyze and resolve performance and technical issues, including EarlyWatch findings
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning and stand-ups
• Deliver on-call rotational support during off-hours and weekends as required

Requirements

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA Database administration
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java stacks (ECC, S/4HANA)
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Technical Monitoring, or CALM
• Knowledge of SAP RISE environments
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Shell scripting)
• Strong experience in incident, problem, and change management
• Experience with SAP Basis administration in enterprise-scale environments
