IT/OT Partner

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical interface between manufacturing and IT at the Charlotte Power Transformers facility
• Troubleshoot and integrate IT and shop floor systems to minimize production downtime
• Plan, execute, and control local IT projects within the manufacturing environment
• Configure and maintain IIoT devices, sensors, and gateways to ensure efficient data collection
• Define and establish digital manufacturing standards and automation recommendations
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including manuals and operating procedures
• Support and improve IT services including shop floor PCs, machine system integration, and network infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional IT experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong IT/OT skillset covering troubleshooting, application support, network devices, servers, and hardware
• Proven experience in Project Management
• Solid understanding of Cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience implementing them in digital manufacturing
• Ability to provide 24/7 support for critical production systems
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and persuasion skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a local team environment
