IT Operations Internship

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support to resolve technical incidents for staff working both in-person and remotely
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with computers, mobile devices, peripheral hardware, and network connectivity (ethernet, wireless, and VPN)
• Troubleshoot applications across PC, Mac, and mobile platforms
• Manage user accounts for mail, telecom, and access controls using tools like Active Directory, Azure, and Exchange Admin Center
• Monitor, triage, and take ownership of support incidents within required Service Level Agreements
• Assist in building PCs, installing applications, and maintaining hardware and mobile devices
• Collaborate with other technology teams to support local infrastructure and assist with various IT projects
• Create knowledgebase articles for repeatable technical processes
• Perform periodic audits of equipment, access, and accounts

Requirements

• Must be a current student in an accredited degree program or a recent graduate (within 12 months of the internship start date)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Foundational skills in computer hardware, application, OS, and mobile troubleshooting
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and prioritize multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Service Desk experience or equivalent technical training/internship
