IT Operations Engineer

About the Company

OLIX is developing the Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1), a new paradigm in hardware architecture designed specifically for decode to bridge the massive infrastructure gap in the AI industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage device lifecycle including imaging, OS patching, and endpoint hardening
• Automate builds and zero-touch provisioning
• Provision accounts and manage directory services, security groups, MFA, and SSO
• Perform basic switch configuration, VLAN changes, and Wi-Fi performance tuning
• Monitor firewall rulesets, triage alerts, and apply firmware updates
• Administer core services including DNS, DHCP, print, file shares, and cloud storage
• Maintain office infrastructure such as AV kit, VoIP, and printers
• Write technical documentation and post-incident reviews
• Drive IT process improvements and workflow refinements

Requirements

• Experience with endpoint lifecycle and MDM-protocol enforcement
• Knowledge of identity and access management (LDAP, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC)
• Proficiency in network and Wi-Fi management (VLAN, L2/L3)
• Experience with firewall policy management and rule lifecycles
• Ability to support macOS, Linux, Windows, iOS, and Android

Preferred Qualifications

• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Infrastructure as Code experience
