IT Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support, configure, and maintain desktop, network, and application systems across mixed Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
• Respond to technical support requests and perform real-time troubleshooting for sophisticated users
• Build and configure laptops, desktops, and servers; support Windows domain infrastructure
• Monitor critical systems and contribute to projects that optimize operational workflows
• Develop automation and scalable solutions using PowerShell and other scripting tools
• Perform occasional physical tasks, including lifting equipment up to 40lbs

Requirements

• Passion for helping people and solving technical problems
• Solid foundation in information technology and networking principles
• Technical expertise in networking, programming, or system administration
• Knowledge of Windows Desktop/Server operating systems and production best practices
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and common Windows administration sub-systems
• Clear, concise, and empathetic verbal communication skills
• Excellent written communication for technical documentation and knowledge base maintenance
• Flexibility to work occasional evening or weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Linux or macOS operating systems
• Technical strength in PowerShell or Bash scripting
