IT Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build out a scalable IT infrastructure for a rapidly growing organization
• Respond to IT help desk requests via phone, email, remote access, and onsite support
• Provide technical assistance for issues related to computer systems, networks, software, and hardware
• Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes
• Escalate complex technical requests to senior staff members as needed

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT operations experience, including system administration and desktop support
• Experience with Google Workspace or Active Directory systems
• Proficiency supporting Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems
• Knowledge of networking protocols and equipment (VPN, DNS, firewalls, routers, switches)
• Experience with the deployment and administration of SaaS applications
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must hold or be eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data protection operations and laws (GDPR)
• Experience with managed Fortinet network stacks
• Knowledge of MDM best practices
• CCNA certification
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or shell scripting
