IT Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary IT Operations point of contact for employees in Colombia, managing device inventory procurement, deployment, and physical security.
• Provide high-level IT support by responding to and resolving ITSD tickets in Jira from inception to completion.
• Administer Google Workspace and manage macOS and Windows devices using enterprise MDM and configuration tools.
• Conduct IT onboarding training for new hires and manage IT-related responsibilities for employee terminations.
• Contribute to IT audit work, including access control history and quarterly software vendor audits.
• Maintain technical awareness of the application stack and assist with IT security initiatives.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience in IT operations or a similar technical role.
• Based in Bogota, Colombia, with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity (remote and in-office).
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent Large Language Model (LLM) tools to enhance productivity.
• Proficiency in cloud-based productivity suite administration and ITSM platforms (e.g., Jira).
• Experience with macOS and Windows device management and enterprise endpoint security platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within agile environments and utilizing Jira for ticketing and workflow design.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOC 2 Type 2, or CIS controls.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to create replicable workflows and change management processes.
• A self-starter mentality with the ability to work autonomously to identify and resolve process inefficiencies.
