About the role
Responsibilities
- Elimination and processing of faults in the industrial environment (1st/2nd level support)
- Act as the main point of contact for employees experiencing computer issues
- Monitor desktop infrastructure performance and suggest efficiency improvements
- Resolve software, hardware, and device issues reported by end users
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software
- Support Client standard technologies including Exchange and Active Directory
- Troubleshoot PC connectivity, network elements, firewalls, and telephone systems
- Implement and support remote access solutions (VPN)
- Oversee asset maintenance and tracking
- Advise and train staff on computer operations and software applications
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a similar IT support position
- In-depth knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, and Office 365
- Proficiency with PC/Laptop hardware and peripherals
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to provide a criminal record extract not older than 3 months
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL certification
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing system
- GMP/GxP knowledge
